Recommended Paints for Interiors & Exteriors
Ceiling Acrylics
We apply a flat finish that doesn’t show as many blemishes that have built up over time that the ceiling has been painted or previous repairs. We also can do in low, sheen, semi or gloss acrylic for the standard family home, wash up or with water can be
tinted to most colours, if white is not of your choosing and same day recoating.
Wall Acrylics
We apply and recommend always 100% rewashable and lightly scrubbable hard wearing low sheen acrylics that can be tinted to a great range of both modern contemporary or traditional colours that have same day recoating and again easily washed up with water.
Doors, Windows & Trim
There is both an aquanamed which comes in a low gloss, semi gloss and gloss which can be tinted to most colours in the Dulux colour range and washes up in water and has a low odour. Old school enamel is also available which is extremely long lasting, but does come with some smell, can be tinted and recoatable in 24 hours.
Bathroom Acrylic
We only use anti mould bathroom acrylic which come in a low sheen, semi gloss or gloss sheen. Can be recoated in the same day and tinted to most colours.

Colour Consulting
Part of our service is to help with colours that actually suit the lighting and period of your home. We also strongly suggest to choose 3 colours and put samples up so that you can make the decision, also allows you to see in different lights throughout the day. A4 size is great.
For projects over a couple of rooms or your unable to visit a dulux store, Aaron or Michael are more than happy to pick up 3 samples and apply them for you otherwise you can speak directly with Aaron to come up with a solution especially for you. What is very low VOC
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) are known to impact on indoor air quality in your home. Dulux enviro (T.M) is a very low VOC paint with equally low emissions – making it extremely good for both your family, home and of course our environment.

Exterior Paint Products
Outside paint must be hard wearing, resist the effects of mould and dirty, also has to be long lasting which is why we recommend Dulux weather shield which comes in a matt, low sheen, semi gloss and gloss finish it also has a formulated maxi flex technology to expand and contract with the surface, Dulux also guarantees that it won’t peel or blister as long as it correctly prepared which comes along hand in hand with the service we provide of doing projects correctly and to last.
We also use emer-clad waterproof membrane for those walls that have the southerly weather patterns beating upon them.
Disposing of old-unwanted or leftover paint
Never dispose paint into stormwater drains or into the sewer. Water based paint will need dulux waist paint hardener poured into it, which will form it into a solid mass, which then can be disposed of in a responsible manner. Please check with council what bin colour. Enamel paint can be absorbed by adding kitty litter, shredded paper and cardboard too, then left in the sun to dry out and disposed of in a household waste collection bin.
